1985
Thirty years ago, Loumia and Shama Hiridjee, two women with a new vision of feminity, founded Princesse tam.tam, the lovable upstart in the French lingerie sector.
In 1935, Josephine Baker used dance and the sound of the tam-tam to pass on a message - freedom in body and mind.
1987
Opening of the first store, rue Bréa in Paris.
1991
Launching of the first Loungewear collection.
1993
Launching of the first Swimwear collection.
2006
Acquisition by the Fast Retailing group.
2007
Opening of the e-commerce website.
2014
Launching of the MONICA range, a lace that turned iconic.
2015
Launching of the Loungewear, Princesse tam.tam cashmere sweaters and first collaboration with Uniqlo on Heattech range.
2017
Creation of our Impala iconic swimsuit & launching of the SHAKER, panties with exclusive and original prints.
2018
Introduction of sustainable fabrics in our collection (organic cotton, lace with upcycled yarn, recycled polyester,…) Introduction of our Oekotex label: now 100% of our Lingerie and Swimwear are getting this label approval.
Launching of our bra specifically designed to adapt to breast cancer treatment.
First non edited pictures, 100% of the pictures are not edited since then.
2019
Advertising campaign Princesse tam.tam for all: whether Princesse or tam.tam, we are the brand of every woman. Whatever the bodyshape, whatever the personnality!
